Title: What Happens When the Heart Just Stops
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Rating: PG
Characters: John, Sherlock
Summary: Anatomy of a panic attack.
A/N: Written as a fill for the Kink Meme, the prompt asking for John having a panic attack. Having lived with Panic Disorder for years, it was easy enough to put myself in John's shoes.
Title from The Frames.

Title: The Sense and Sensibility of John Watson
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Pairing(s): John/Sherlock (squinty)
Rating: PG
Genre: Vaguely Gen
Summary: The beginning of a beautiful friendship does not go off without a hitch.
Warnings: Gross ignorance of first aid.
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] 221b_slash_fest, my recipient was [livejournal.com profile] birddi. She asked for bamf!John and Mummy, and this is what I came up with. (While watching the BBC Pride & Prejudice mini-series, mind.)

The Sense and Sensibility of John Watson
wibblylever: (SHBBC: Simply disturbing.)
Title: Apiphobia
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Rating: PG
Characters: John/Sherlock
Summary: John Watson fears nothing. Er, almost nothing.
A/N: From this prompt at the kinkmeme: I think I have one of the most irrational fears in the world. And it seems to be a theme around here where we prompt to have our boys share these fears. So I was thinking: what if a bunch of us posted little fills of one of them sharing an irrational fear of ours? I filled it there anonymously, this is me de-anoning.
Warnings: Bzzzzzzz.

John is half-asleep on the sofa when he first hears it. )

Title: Of Snow and Giraffes and Fat Gits Called Mycroft
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Rating: PG-13
Characters: John/Sherlock, Mycroft
Summary: A well-timed blizzard, sibling rivalry, and Sherlock-in-a-box. I don't even know.
A/N: From this prompt at the kinkmeme: I don't care why or how, but Mycroft has to move in to 221B for about a week. Sherlock is very DRAMATIC about this. I filled it anonymously there, this is me de-anoning (and editing).
Warnings: None.

I think, said Mycroft, peering down his nose at Sherlock, this is your most childish objection to my presence yet. )

Title: An Ordinary, Extraordinary Man
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Word Count: 2786
Summary: In the three years John Watson spent in the desert he learned three very important things.
A/N: Written for a prompt from [livejournal.com profile] wikdsushi, the trope Badass Normal. Takes place in a world where Faeries and other supernatural creatures, demons and whatnot, co-exist with humanity. Borrows from all sorts of mythology, makes mention of Middle Eastern folklore (which I likely completely bollocksed up, my apologies), and references bits and pieces of Faerie superstition found in my urban fantasy collection (100% sparkly vampire free). This is silly. But I had fun with it. :)

A Sherlock/Good Omens infusion. By [livejournal.com profile] etothepii

This is glorious. Sherlock is a demon, Mycroft is an angel, and John is the human caught in the middle.

Even if you've never read GO, you can still read this. Go. Do it now.

Sherlock, John and a zombie.

Seriously, this is great. Short, and graphic, but so good and so disturbing. Unf.

Title: Lay Me Down
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic & [livejournal.com profile] moony
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC 1)
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Rating: NC-17
Notes: A direct follow-up to The Shape I Found You In. Wherein [livejournal.com profile] moony is responsible for John-POV scenes, [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic is responsible for Sherlock-POV scenes, and Mycroft figures nowhere into the equation (except perhaps via a few meddlesome texts, but Sherlock deleted those). Title courtesy of The Frames.
Warnings: Allusions to suicide without stating it outright.
Word Count: 17,000
Disclaimer: The writers do not own any of the characters, except for the family in the airport, a handful of random tourists, and Helle.
Summary: The only courage greater than the kind it takes to wax confessional in written correspondence is the courage it takes to follow through with action.

Wherein There Is a Case, Several Mysteries, John Coming to the Rescue, and an Old Folk Saying, by [livejournal.com profile] parsnips

AS YOU MIGHT KNOW, I love bamf!John who solves crimes. I also like funny bits. This has both.

my body when it is with your by Mad_Maudlin. John/Sherlock, fantasy AU.

Summary: Lupercalia: the season when the werewolf takes a mate. John is unhappy. Sherlock is intrigued.

This was written for the kink meme and oh my effing God, how did I miss this? It's gorgeous. Twisting Sherlock with the supernatural can either be very very good or very very not good. This nails it. Excellent and in-character despite the fantasy setting, a wonderful premise and excellent - subtle - world-building. And scorching sex, one of the best sex scenes I've ever read.

And really, make John a werewolf and I am squidgy goo in your hands. For reals.

Go read this. I'm begging you.

Inspired by the Inception kissing meme I want to do the same for Sherlock. SO.

Kisses! So many kisses, so little time. Dirty kisses, sweet kisses, chaste kisses, loving kisses, angry kisses, kisses hello and goodbye, kisses for family, friends and lovers. Kiss me, Kate. You should be kissed and kissed often, and by someone who knows how. KISS Saves Christmas. Kiss the girls. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

1. All pairings welcome, het, slash, asexual and gen.
2. Contributions must contain kissing (durrr).
3. Feel free to request a certain kind of kiss!
4. Warnings apply (please warn, if necessary, in the subject line of your comment - especially for things like character death and any kind of triggers.

Title: Monster
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Pairing/Characters: John/Sherlock
Rating: R
Word Count: 18,726
Notes: An enormous thank-you to my beta readers, [livejournal.com profile] fishandcustard, [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic, [livejournal.com profile] _doodle, [livejournal.com profile] sabriel75, [livejournal.com profile] bhanesidhe, [livejournal.com profile] clarkoholic, and my non-LJ friend Jenni. :) Originally written for the [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbigbang, for which artist sign-ups are still open!
Summary: “And just what is the plan, Sherlock?” John shouted. “Go to prison? You assaulted a police officer – no court won’t convict you.” He ran a hand over his face. “What could possibly be worth risking your freedom?”

ETA: Now with artwork by the talented [livejournal.com profile] clarkoholic!

Title: It Gets Better
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Rating: PG13
Pairing: John/Sherlock (allusions to)
Warnings: Talk of suicide, verbal abuse, homophobia.
Summary: A study in Sherlock.

A/N: Inspired by the It Gets Better Project, a series of videos made by real people everywhere reminding us all, especially the troubled and abused, that it does, in fact, get better.

ETA: I wanted to add that one of the reasons I wrote this is because I was bullied as a child and as a teen. Absolutely relentlessly. I was assaulted and alienated on a regular basis, for no reason other than I was a smart girl, a late bloomer and... just me. And the adults around me (with the exception of my parents) did little to intervene. Somehow, I got through it, though not entirely unscathed. It stays with you, that sort of thing. You never forget it.

But it does get better. And that's what this is about.

Thank you.

Title: The Shape I Found You In
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic & [livejournal.com profile] moony
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC 1)
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Rating: R (possibly NC-17; this is debatable)
Notes: An epistolary post-TGG collaboration, the premise being that this is the first significant separation that John and Sherlock have experienced since becoming flatmates. [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic is responsible for Sherlock's bits, [livejournal.com profile] moony is responsible for John's bits, and the rest of it is entirely down to improvisation on both sides. Mycroft is responsible for said separation, incorrigible bastard that he is.
Word Count: 7,500
Disclaimer: The writers do not own any of the characters, except for a few OCs.
Summary: In which Sherlock invades Sweden, John watches too much questionable television, Things Are Finally Talked About, and absence makes the heart grow odder.

Title: Free To Move About the Cabin
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Rating: R
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Summary: On a trip to America, the friendly skies get a bit friendlier.
Disclaimer: Sherlock Holmes belongs to the ages, but all due respect given to the almighty Moff and Gatiss.

A/N: Most of this was written at 38,000 feet on my way from Boston to San Francisco. Sadly, my flight was not so eventful. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] fishandcustard for the nitpickery.

Title: Tuesday Morning
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moony
Pairing: John, Sherlock (can be interpreted as gen or pre-slash)
Summary: It may be the worst Tuesday imaginable. Also, brains.
Rating: PGish?
Disclaimer: Not the Gat, not the Moff. Don't sue.
A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] fishandcustard for the beta and for cheering me on. First fic for this branch of the broader Holmes fandom, a bit of somewhat disturbing yet fluffy gen, just because. Title courtesy of the Pogues.

Warnings: Body parts, sociopathic tendencies, questionable legality, mentions of reality television. I can't explain how this came about in my head, but I promise I'm (reasonably) sane.
